Draft proposal attached |  The Bay Revealed, Sierras to GGKV+Associates with XRez, developed a proposal to produce Bay Revealed, Voyage from the Sierras to the Golden Gate, a proposed signature film for the Aquarium of the Bay on Fisherman's Wharf. The story explores four distinct environments in this complex ecosystem. Use of real-world terrain combined with visual effects engages viewers by flying above, then diving into the waters below to experience each unique ecosystem like never before - from the perspective of birds and fish. As the musuem reached its 100th year, it was re-evaluating its role and setting its future. |  Ellis Island Conference CenterKV+Associates in collaboration with Altier.Kathleen Brown conducted a demand analysis concerning 30 buildings on the south side of Ellis Island, an area formerly used for immigrants refused or delayed entry to the US due primarily to health issues. The research considered a themed conference center focusing on contemporary public health and immigration issues. KV+A also explored the possibilities of educational tourism, preservation organizations and pharmaceuticals. |
